I gel sometimes to change the color temp, however in a case like this, I would typically warm it up in post processing, then use a mask to "undo" the warm color in places where I wouldn't want it as warm. Mike, Yes a 1/8 or 1/4 CTO (color temp orange) gel could have been used. I gel sometimes to change the color temp, however in a case like this, I would typically warm it up in post processing, then use a mask to “undo” the warm color in places where I wouldn’t want it as warm.
